About Jerry
Every student I work with is treated with professionalism, respect, and care. I track progress and adjust my teaching to meet each student’s needs. Parents and students can expect clear communication, reliable scheduling, and consistent support.
My goal is not just to help students get better grades, but to help them truly understand what they are learning. I create a safe, supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are part of the learning process.
With my structured approach, bilingual ability (English and Mandarin), and focus on real understanding, students and parents can trust that they are receiving high-quality, responsible, and effective tutoring.

Teaching Approach: I am a practical, student-centered tutor who helps students understand concepts by connecting them to real life. Instead of memorizing, students learn why things work. I use clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and real-world examples. I can also explain in Mandarin to help fill language gaps and make learning easier.
Method & Lesson Style: Each lesson includes:
- Quick review of previous material
- Clear explanation of new concepts
- Guided practice together
- Independent practice with feedback
- Short summary
I focus on understanding first, then speed and accuracy.
