About Wasif

I am a UCL Physics graduate with over 500 hours of tutoring experience in Mathematics and Physics across all levels, from Primary to University Admission Tests such as MAT and STEP.

Having achieved straight A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, as well as top grades at GCSE, my tutoring approach is built on strategies I personally used and have refined over 3 years of teaching.

My core philosophy is simple: any student can excel given the right guidance, structure, and strategy. I have worked with over 30 students, including students with SEN, helping them build confidence, bridge knowledge gaps, and consistently improve their grades by 1 to 2 boundaries.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so I tailor every lesson to individual strengths, weaknesses, and target goals.

How My Lessons Work:

Diagnostic Assessment: We begin by identifying weak areas and mapping out a customized step-by-step learning plan.

Concept Mastery: Breaking down complex topic theories into clear, simple steps so you truly understand the subject, rather than just memorizing formulas.

Exam Strategy and Problem Solving: We focus heavily on mark schemes, time management, active recall, and avoiding common examiner traps.

Oxbridge and Admission Prep: Dedicated training for MAT, STEP, and university-level interview style problem-solving.
