About Emily

Emily is an experienced music instructor with 19 years of piano experience and over 5 years of teaching students of various ages and skill levels. She is currently a Master’s student at UCLA, where she continues to develop both her performance and academic training.

About the lesson

Emily’s teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, learning style, and level. Lessons are designed for beginners through advanced students, including children, teens, and adults. A typical lesson incorporates technique building, repertoire development, sight-reading, and musicianship skills, with clear short- and long-term goals to encourage steady progress.
