About Kaitlin
Hi I’m Kaitlin! I’m in my second year at UCL studying Biochemistry
I achieved 4 A*’s at A-Levels despite struggling with some parts of the syllabus, and want to help other students achieve the same.
I got a 1st in my first year of Biochemistry at UCL, so have a better understanding of Biology and Chemistry beyond the GCSE and A-Level specification. This is useful when teaching more complex topics, where simplifying to the key details for the exam requires broader initial knowledge
I coached gymnastics for 4 years and am a qualified assistant athletics coach. Gymnastics coaching gave me experience making lesson plans and helping children problem solve to understand new concepts whilst the qualification taught different teaching techniques and how to make lessons fun and engaging. I am passionate about helping children improve because it’s so rewarding to see the joy they have when the hard work is paying off.
