About Lesika

As a dedicated tutor with an academic background and first-hand experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, I understand the challenges students face when striving for excellence in essay writing and textual analysis. I tailor each session to the student’s specific needs, focusing on building analytical thinking, essay structure, and clear expression. I place particular emphasis on encouraging critical engagement with texts, strengthening argumentation, and developing the ability to write with both clarity and depth. I use a variety of techniques including guided discussion, interactive annotation, timed practice, and constructive feedback to help students build both skill and confidence. A typical lesson lasts one hour, though I remain flexible based on the student’s needs and learning pace. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours at the University of Warwick, where I have developed a strong foundation in critical reading, argumentation, and academic writing. I have previously completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, which gives me direct insight into the expectations and challenges of IB English. I have also worked as a legal intern and research fellow, where I honed my analytical and written communication skills in professional settings.
