About Kevin

My life goal is to become a dedicated Researcher in a laboratory inventing and discovering new aspects of science.
Due to this, I found it difficult to specialise in a specific scientific subject at University due to my never-seen-before passion in ALL subjects, hence I study Biochemistry as this course introduces me to MANY general aspects of science which all fascinate me.

My University coursemates have inspired me to apply as a tutor, due to my ability to simplify complex scientific topics into explanations that even a bug can understand! Hence this is my first step in teaching.

Additionally, due to my current placement, I have a very flexible schedule which I will use to make you a professor in your classroom!

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques and Methodology:
In tutoring, I aim for a personalized and effective approach. I understand that every student has a unique learning style, and my goal is to adapt to what works best for you. I provide explanations and support tailored to your needs, making complex subjects as easy as pie.

Typical Length of a Lesson:
My lessons are designed to be comprehensive but not rushed. On average, we'll spend 20-30 minutes exploring the subject matter. However, I believe in flexible timing to ensure you understand each concept thoroughly, so we can adjust as needed.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
My tutoring experience includes serving as a laboratory demonstrator during my GCSEs and Sixth form. I'm committed to continuous learning and am excited to share my knowledge and expertise with students seeking support.

Target Audience:
My lessons are open to students in primary school, secondary school, and Sixth form, particularly those studying subjects in Biology and Chemistry. Whether you're preparing for exams or simply seeking to improve your understanding of these subjects, I'm here to help you succeed.
