About Sarah
My passion for tutoring English is influenced by a combination of my personal interests, values, and experiences. As a Muslim woman, l have grown up with a strong emphasis on education and learning as it is encouraged in Islam. My personal experiences with education and the importance of knowledge has inspired me to share my knowledge with others. Islam places great importance on helping others and serving the community. Tutoring English allows me to support and empower individuals in my community who might be struggling with their education. By assisting them in improving their English language skills, I am enabling them to have better opportunities and access to resources. My passion for tutoring English is also fuelled by my love for language and communication. Effective communication skills are essential in every aspect of life, and by teaching English, I am equipping my students with the ability to express themselves, understand others, and engage confidently in various settings.
In conclusion, my passion for tutoring English is deeply connected to my identity as a Muslim woman and my belief in the transformative power of education.

As a tutor with one year of experience and qualifications in A-Level English and GCSE English with top grades, my approach to tutoring is well-informed and effective. My techniques and teaching methodology are tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of my students, particularly those in the 5-16 age range.
I understand that each student is unique, and I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs and abilities. I may use diagnostic assessments to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, which enables me to create personalised learning plans. To keep my young learners interested and motivated, I incorporate a variety of interactive and engaging activities into my lessons. These may include games, group discussions, creative writing exercises, and multimedia resources. To focus on developing essential English language skills, such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening, I design exercises and tasks that progressively enhance these skills and provide ample opportunities for practice. I also provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills. Positive reinforcement and encouragement play a significant role in fostering a supportive learning environment. I set clear learning objectives for each lesson and communicate them to my students. This way, they understand what they will achieve by the end of the session, which increases their motivation to participate actively.
