My approach to tutoring is to sit down with the student and see what it is that they may be struggling with as well as their current understanding of the topic and from there help teach them how to best approach, work through, and solve the problems they may be struggling with. Being that I myself am a student, I understand exactly what it's like to be in the position of struggling to understand a topic and needing someone to patiently help me learn while I work to understand, which is why I try my best to do just that and level with students struggling to understand various topics.
