I am an undergraduate pharmacology student at the University of Bristol. I am able to teach GCSE maths, further maths, chemistry and biology, after receiving A A B in my A levels.

About Jessica
I am extremely passionate about the subjects I teach and believe that, especially maths, can be learnt and understood by anyone when explained in an individual way specific to the student. As no two people learn the same way.
My degree has helped me recognise the importance of the foundational knowledge put in place. As when I myself was in secondary school I had a distaste for STEM subjects due to poor teaching. I then discovered my love for biology, chemistry and maths during my A levels from the passion and care taken by my teachers.
I would love to share this with pupils who may be in a similar situation I was during my time in school, through my tried and tested teaching methods.

I am able to teach in sessions between 30-90 minutes depending on the topic and skill level. In my lessons I aim to build and consolidate a foundation level of understanding through explanation and consistent practice. As understanding the mechanics and theory behind the answer rather than just the method to get there is what helps students achieve the top grades. My lessons are aimed at students between year seven and year eleven.
