About Nafla
I have completed a Diploma in Translation and Interpretation at the University of Kelaniya With Distinctions. I am a Trilingual Translator(SinhalaTamil English) in Profession, with more than 4 years of experience in this translation field and have given private tuition for students for several years. I graduated high school with a Local (GCE A-level) curriculum in 2014. I studied Sinhala as my first language and Sinhala Literature as a Subject for the GCE Ordinary Level examination in Sri Lanka and was able to achieve an A-grade pass for both subjects.
Dynamic pedagogue and motivated; I would like to take care of students who are interested in learning Sinhala as a language. I am looking to leverage my knowledge in Sinhala as I grew up in Sri Lanka and spread my experience to all students seeking to learn this language. Additionally, I am fluent in Tamil and English, thus able to provide bi-lingual translation when needed.

My classes are specifically for primary and secondary school kids. I am specialized in Speaking, Writing, and Grammer. I believed in student-centric education and conducted customized classes for each individual. (Based on the capacity and prior knowledge of the student). Stories, pictures, and videos are using for beginners (primary level). Essay writings and advanced grammar lessons will be for advance and intermediate-level students.
I provide handouts before each lesson. I use different teaching aids to keep engaged children in the lesson and presentations for adults. I can tailor lessons to your request and the level of the existing knowledge. I conduct classes either in Sinhalese, English, or Tamil.
