About Maria
I'm an undergraduate student of history at King's College London. I specialise in History and English Literature at both GCSE and A-level. I myself have achieved A's in my GCSEs and A-Levels, and being a student myself I know exactly how students learn and understand difficult concepts. I can assure that my tutoring will result in you achieving the grades you desire.

My approach to tutoring is centred around each individual student and their needs. I believe every student learns differently, so I aim to create lessons that are tailored to their goals and areas they would like to improve. Whether they need help understanding texts, developing their essay writing skills. I will make sure the lessons focus on what they want and need to learn.
I want my lessons to be both supportive and interactive. Rather than simply explaining concepts, I encourage students to get involved, ask questions and share their ideas. I will explain things clearly and at a pace that is comfortable for the student, while regularly checking their understanding and giving them opportunities to apply what they have learned.

Maria is a lovely tutor and amazing to work with. She has been excellent at guiding me when I’ve struggled with specific concepts and is determined, gentle and patient. I would reccomend her to anyone looking for a great tutor. I jumped three grades with her!
Best teacher I’ve ever had!
I have taken tutoring lessons from Maria in the past and she is genuinely the only reason I achieved an 8 in GCSE English. She is truly amazing. She taught me creative writing and how to improve my essay skills. Truly a star!
