About Chenel
My name is Chenel, I am a soon to be 2nd year student at the North West University in Potchefstroom. I am currently studying Bsc Physiology and Psychology and I love being outside and going on adventures.
Helping younger learners to succeed will inspire me to achieve my degree as I am also a student that learns something new every day.
I love working with children and learning them things in ways that I taught myself when I could not quite understand my educator in primary school.
I achieved many distinctions for Afrikaans throughout my school years with Matric results of 73%.
Although this will be my first time tutoring I am inspired to teach what has made language subjects easier for me to understand.

I teach in a way that learners are comfortable with and will observe carefully what needs to be worked on.
I am able to teach in Afrikaans and in English.
Expected from a lesson with me, we'll start with basics and see what the learner is capable of and understands. The following lessons will look at homework and improvements and will increase slightly in difficulty.
I aim to teach learners aged 6-13 years old who want to improve their Afrikaans and be prepared for school. Learners should at least be able to understand either Afrikaans or English to attend these lessons.
Lessons are expected to be fun and creative, although it should include discipline.
