About Ash
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Bath. I am proficient in writing and editing, as one of my hobbies is journalism. Currently, I am a co-host of a radio show and the Head of Sport beginning in September for the student magazine! In my free time, you will probably find me watching football or rugby, or getting up really early to watch an F1 race. I enjoy going on walks and photography, and I am a huge nerd for history and philosophy. I am currently studying politics and international relations, and I hope to expand my horizons going into public affairs and law.

Student led with the first lesson being a baseline assessment on what needs helping. Always leading with a positive attitude, rewarding achievements instead of criticising failures. Typically hour long lessons, including a short warm up, collaborative exercise made into a game at the beginning (often building on a skill we worked on the weeks prior), then a short lesson on a new skill, then getting them started on an independent project I will mark for the next lesson. I have experience working with children in a variety of year groups, including in summer school where I worked as a teaching assistant for foreign language kids. I am PREVENT and Safeguarding qualified, always putting the student first.
