About Vaanya

About Me

I am a dedicated and reliable English tutor with a strong passion for helping students achieve their full potential. I take pride in creating a professional yet approachable learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and confident in their abilities.

I have experience working with middle and high school students, helping them improve their reading, writing, and analytical skills. I understand the importance of adapting my teaching style to suit each individual, ensuring that every lesson is both effective and engaging.

I am well-organised, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality lessons tailored to each student’s goals—whether that is improving grades, preparing for exams, or building confidence in English. I also provide constructive feedback and clear guidance so students can see real progress over time.

Above all, I aim to build trust with both students and parents by maintaining a professional, patient, and encouraging approach in every lesson.

About the lesson

About My English Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and tailored to individual learning styles. I focus on building confidence alongside strong language skills, ensuring that each student feels comfortable expressing themselves while making steady progress.

Teaching Techniques & Methodology
I use a mix of interactive and structured techniques to keep lessons engaging and effective. This includes guided reading, discussion-based learning, writing practice, and targeted grammar exercises. I adapt my teaching based on each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, using real-life examples and exam-style questions where appropriate. I also encourage active participation, critical thinking, and regular feedback to help students stay motivated and track their progress.

Lesson Length
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover key material while maintaining focus and energy. However, I am flexible and happy to adjust lesson duration depending on the student’s needs.

Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students of all abilities. Whether a student needs help with homework, exam preparation, improving writing skills, or boosting overall confidence in English, I tailor each session to meet their goals.
