About Hafsah
I believe I am someone who is trustworthy and will make the student feel comfortable and be able to let me know when the class needs to be tailored to fit their specific needs. I am well experienced as throughout and A-levels I went on to tutor younger years in the subject of psychology. Not only do I have a wide knowledge in the specific subject, I also have great listening and communication skills which I believe are key factors a teacher should hold when tutoring.

To start off I would use the first lesson to get to know my student and build a relationship with them in which they can learn to trust me. I would love to gain an understanding of my student's academic abilities and their level of understanding in the subject of psychology. I would also gain an understanding of what area in psychology my students struggle with the most (e.g. memorizing content) to which I would then use a variety of techniques to help conquer my students' struggles, allowing them to be confident in the subject. Not only will I provide help in being able to understand psychology, but I also try to understand my students' abilities by using many of my skills such as communication and listening skills, which are most important when tutoring. This way I will be able to tailor my lessons to suit my students, for example, if my student struggles to stay focused, then my lessons will contain more exercises and activities to help my student stay engaged throughout the lesson, ensuring they are able to learn and gain the most out of the class. To further ensure my students get the most out of their lessons, I will plan in advance according to what topics my students feel they want to focus more on. This way I make certain that no time is wasted in the lesson. Look forward to hearing from you!
