About Aimee
I am Aimee, a uni student studying biomedical science. I have always loved teaching as I believe education leads to opportunity. I previously have tutored in science and maths. I also homeschool my younger sibling who is now going to college in September. I also volunteered for two years as a youth leader in St John Ambulance where I taught the cadets first aid and their Grand Prior subjects.

My teaching style in personal tutoring is supportive, adaptive, and student-centred. I focus on understanding each learner’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals, and tailor my approach to suit their individual needs. I strive to create a comfortable and engaging environment where questions are encouraged and confidence can grow. I use a mix of clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive methods to help students grasp concepts deeply, not just memorise facts. My goal is to build not only knowledge but also independent learning skills that students can carry with them beyond our sessions.

I think Aimee is an amazing tutor, she helped me so much with maths I passed my GCSE and I believe Aimee helped me so much to achieve that. She is so kind and supportive and helps you with anything you need help with. Aimee is very patient and encouraging and will take her time to allow you to understand the questions.
