About Sanele

Hello! My name is Sanele Mhlongo, and I am passionate about helping learners gain confidence and succeed in Mathematics. I completed a Higher Certificate in Life and Environmental Sciences at UNISA in 2024, where I achieved 83% in QMI1500 (Quantitative Methods) and 93% in BNU1501 (Basic Numeracy).

I enjoy teaching because I know that many students struggle with Mathematics, not because they are incapable, but because they need concepts explained in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is to create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.

I believe every learner has the potential to improve with the right guidance, consistent practice, and positive encouragement. Seeing students understand difficult concepts and become more confident in their abilities is what motivates me to teach. I look forward to helping learners achieve their academic goals and develop a positive attitude towards Mathematics.

About the lesson

I believe every learner can succeed in Mathematics with the right support, clear explanations, and regular practice. My lessons are designed to help students understand concepts step by step instead of simply memorising formulae.

I teach Grade 8–10 Mathematics through personalised online lessons using Zoom or Google Meet and team. Each lesson is tailored to the student's learning pace, strengths, and areas that need improvement. I provide guidance with homework, assignments, revision, test preparation, and exam strategies.

As a UNISA Higher Certificate graduate, I achieved 83% in QMI1500 (Quantitative Methods) and 93% in BNU1501 (Basic Numeracy), demonstrating strong quantitative and analytical skills. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in Mathematics.

My goal is to help every learner improve their understanding, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve better results through consistent support and practical learning
