About Amir
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Alberta with a GPA of 3.9/4 and extensive experience as a Lead Teaching Assistant. Having received multiple academic awards and scholarships, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Programming. As a PhD researcher at the University of Alberta with a GPA of 3.9/4, I bring high-level academic expertise to my tutoring. I specialize in simplifying complex concepts in Mathematics and Physics for high schoolers, as well as teaching Python and Electrical Engineering to university students.
My Approach:
Methodology: I use a problem-solving oriented approach, focusing on the "why" behind every concept to ensure long-term understanding.
Experience: I have served as a Lead Teaching Assistant for multiple engineering courses at UofA, including "Python for Engineers".
Lesson Plan: A typical session starts with a quick review of core theory, followed by hands-on practice with real-world problems and exam-style questions.
Target Audience: I welcome students of all levels, from those struggling with basics to advanced learners aiming for top grades in STEM subjects.
