About Grace

Hi I am Grace and I absolutely love Science, particularly Biology. Biology is the study of all things living, and my favourite part of Biology is learning why and how life on Earth exists. My passion for Science is so huge that after my degree I am going to be completing a PGCE, which is a teaching degree for 11-16 schools. I love to teach what I have learnt during my time at school, and because I find Biology so interesting I am so passionate about spreading my knowledge to other students.

About the lesson

GCSE Biology is tricky, and students sometimes tend to revise the stuff they like over the stuff they don't like because it's harder. I know this because I was that student. My approach is to gather information about a student on what they are most confident in and what their weaknesses are within Biology, and then I will make a plan to teach them the topics they are least confident in and I will do it in a fun way. I am University Biology student. I studied Science BTEC at A Level and received a distinction for that course. I can also help with coursework in that department, as most of my modules are coursework orientated. I can tutor students ages 11-16 for GCSE Biology. I can tutor post-16 to help with coursework.

Grace is very determined at helping younger students achieve. She listens to my daughters worries and can understand the stress some of our children are put through with school and lessons. My daughter was struggling with English Lit and Grace was able to help my daughter remember all the KEY quotes and how to analyse them. She is very cheap and worth it!!
