About Yoliswa
I am a third year student at the University of Cape Town majoring in Quantitative Biology. I extended my degree with another year as I faced academic challenges in my first year and decided that it is better to finish late than fail my courses. I did not put any pressure on myself and hence I am enjoying my courses and am willing to study further after my degree. I decided to tutor and help other students because I know how frustrating it is when you are struggling with certain subject and feel like you have no idea what is happening. I am willing to help other people in areas where I can, so others don't suffer when I am around. I like to make other people comfortable around me so they can relax and be able to share their difficulties. I want to show the fun side to education.

I am able to teach in English, IsiZulu and Sesotho. My lessons are presented online but if the student prefers in-person, I can also do house calls. My aim is for my students to be comfortable so they can ask as many questions as they want without feeling shy or scared and for them to raise any concerns they might have. My lessons are enjoyable so the student can learn to enjoy their subjects as they learn and be able to tackle any challenges they encounter without losing heart for school.
