About Dr Anju

I am an experienced academic and educator with more than 21 years of teaching, mentoring, research, and academic leadership experience. I currently serve as a Director of Academic Assessments at a U.S.-based university and also teach and facilitate students across international higher-education institutions.

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics, qualified the UGC-NET Junior Research Fellowship, and was a Gold Medalist in M.A. Economics. Over the years, I have taught Economics, Business Research Methods, Research Methodology, Quantitative Analysis, Business Analytics, and management-related subjects at undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, and doctoral levels.

What matters most to me as a teacher is helping students understand concepts with clarity and confidence. I believe learning should never feel intimidating. I break complex ideas into manageable steps, use practical examples, encourage questions, and adapt my teaching style to the student’s pace and learning needs.

For college, postgraduate, MBA, and research students, I provide structured support in Economics, Research Methods, academic writing, literature reviews, research proposals, quantitative analysis, dissertations, and research projects.

I enjoy teaching Class 11 and 12 students, as this stage is where strong conceptual foundations can make a lasting difference. Teaching senior-secondary Economics is a personal passion, and I focus on helping students understand the subject beyond examination preparation so that they are better prepared for higher studies as well.

Students can expect a professional, patient, organized, and supportive learning environment, with clear explanations, constructive feedback, and genuine attention to their progress. My aim is not only to help students perform better academically, but also to help them become confident and independent learners.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is concept-focused, practical, and student-centered. I first make sure students understand the core idea in simple language, then connect it to real business, economic, or research examples. I use questioning, short activities, worked examples, case discussions, and step-by-step guidance so that students learn how to apply concepts rather than simply memorize them.

A typical class begins with a quick review of the previous topic and the learning goal for the session. I then explain the concept with examples, work through one or two applications with the student, and gradually move toward independent practice. I usually end with a short recap, key takeaways, and guidance on what to practice next.

One of my strengths as a teacher is that I can simplify complex topics without losing their academic meaning. With more than 21 years of teaching and academic experience, including university-level teaching, research supervision, assessment, and faculty development, I adapt my pace and examples to the learner’s background. I also provide structured feedback and focus on building confidence, analytical thinking, and independent learning.

My classes are best suited for college and university students, MBA and postgraduate learners, research students, and adult learners. I can support students in Economics, Business Research Methods, Research Methodology, Quantitative Analysis, Business Analytics, academic writing, research proposals, literature reviews, and dissertation/project guidance.

My classes are suited for Class 11 and 12 students too. Teaching senior-secondary students is also a personal passion of mine, particularly helping them build strong conceptual foundations before they move into higher education.

Details

My tuition fee is ₹2,500 per hour for one-to-one online sessions.

The fee includes personalized teaching, concept clarification, guided practice, and discussion based on the student’s specific learning needs. For Class 11–12 students, sessions can focus on Economics concepts, exam preparation, and application-based understanding. For university, MBA, and research students, sessions may include Research Methods, Economics, academic writing, literature reviews, research proposals, quantitative analysis, and dissertation/project guidance.

Longer-term or regular weekly sessions can be planned based on the student’s learning goals and required frequency.
