About Eleanor

My name is Eleanor and I recently completed my A levels in English literature, Early Modern History and Physical Education.

I am now studying a joint honours degree of English Literature and History at the University of Edinburgh.

I am tutoring so that I can help people in a similar position to the one I was in a few years ago and also develop new skills for myself at the same time.

About the lesson

My lessons are for those of all levels, mainly GCSE and A Level age, hoping to achieve their potential in their classwork and exams.

I offer a wide range of techniques and learning options in order to achieve the best level of work, learning and comprehension from the student.

For English I can teach and cover areas such as Prose, Poetry, Drama and the more general such as essay writing technique and general improved comprehension and understanding of texts.

Hi Ele, Thanks so much for your help with our son’s English GCSE. He really has found so much confidence it such a short amount of time with you, and his knowledge of Macbeth has really blossomed. You have been so patient with him, he isn’t a natural learner and had really struggled with his revision. You kept him focused and made it fun, and for that I send you huge thanks.
