About Evelyn
Hello! My name is Evelyn, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow, and I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to ask questions and build confidence.
In addition to my university studies, I have hands-on experience working with children as a nanny. This has strengthened my ability to communicate patiently, adapt to different learning styles, and create engaging activities that keep children motivated and focused.
I specialize in helping elementary students (Kindergarten through 5th grade) with reading, phonics, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and homework support. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs, learning pace, and goals.
I believe that learning should be encouraging rather than stressful. My goal is not only to help students improve their English skills but also to help them become confident learners who enjoy reading and expressing themselves through writing.

Hello! My name is Evelyn, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am passionate about helping young learners develop strong reading and writing skills while building confidence in the classroom.
My English lessons are designed for elementary students (Kindergarten through 5th grade) who need support with reading, phonics, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, or homework. Whether your child needs extra help mastering foundational skills or wants to become a more confident reader and writer, I personalize each lesson to meet their individual needs and learning style.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to keep students engaged and motivated. I break new concepts into simple, manageable steps and use positive reinforcement to help children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, introducing a new skill or concept, practicing together through fun activities or reading exercises, and ending with a recap to reinforce learning. I also provide feedback so parents know what their child worked on and the progress they're making.
As an Elementary Education student with experience working with children, my goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can improve their English skills, gain confidence, and develop a lifelong love of reading and learning.
