About Sam
Hi, I'm a university English Major so I always enjoyed the grammar and details of the language, but never thought about learning it. Then, I had to learn a language - French - from nothing, as an adult. I became deeply interested in the science of language learning and how our brains best acquire a language. That prompted me to want to teach others.

The way you will learn a second language is the same way you learned a first language! This methodology comes from the well-studied idea of "comprehensible input". Language learning happens when you understand most but not all of what you read and hear. This is the fastest way to learn a language, and luckily it is also the most enjoyable. I am happy to tailor my approach depending on your input, but the goal is to find a level of simplicity where you are comfortable, and work from there.
