About James
I am a sociable and active young academic, with a passion for learning and educating myself and others. Originally graduating from Bristol in Biomedical Science, I've moved to Glasgow and look to continue helping young students achieve their goal, enjoy education and inspire their independence. As a product of tutoring myself I understand the help that is needed to succeed in today's education system. More importantly, how everyone learns differently and together we will find the best way for you to tackle the complex and exciting world of biological science from a basic to advanced level. I encourage and aid my tutees to reflect upon their learning gaps and areas which they feel lack confidence. We will use online learning resources and textbooks to review topics to later help structure independent learning tasks. Then apply their learning to examination questions. I understand the importance of building students' academic confidence so carefully scaffold learning activities to ensure the right level of support and challenge to enable success.
