I offer a free initial 15-minute consultation to ensure I understand your needs and to allow you to get to know me, my approach, and my demeanor so that you can be certain that I am a good fit for meeting your needs before you commit to booking hour-long lessons.

Per-hour lesson pricing is based on the time we spend together online during each hour-long lesson. At no additional cost, after each lesson has ended, I will provide access to relevant handouts, checklists, and other materials related to the content we covered during your lesson, if applicable. As well, I will send a brief, individualized write-up of key ideas, notes, and takeaways from our time together, so that you have easy access to the information we cover. When necessary, this will also include a brief evaluative section, where I summarize any issues that would benefit from further attention and refinement.

Along with specific lessons on writing techniques and refinement, lesson time can also be used to brainstorm ideas, review and discuss assignment guides, create outlines for written work, review standards for quotation and citation styles, review your tone and voice in your writing, and review drafts with opportunities to receive feedback based on my expertise in teaching academic writing.

Initial consultations and hour-long lessons will take place online via Zoom. I offer flexible scheduling and can often provide assistance on short notice, so please feel free to reach out if you require assistance quickly, or if you have a looming deadline.
