About Cameron

Hi, I’m Cameron. I hold an Integrated Master’s in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and will be starting Graduate Entry Medicine this Autumn. Having studied and taught Biology and Chemistry extensively, I understand the academic challenges of these subjects, as well as how to explain concepts clearly and effectively, having received a full suite of A* grades at A-Level, and grade 9's in 7 subjects at GCSE.

I am a firm believer that understanding a topic makes things a lot easier, and I can give you higher level knowledge to aid understanding. I have a particular interest in ageing, having done research on ageing as part of my Master's, but I have always found Biology and Chemistry, and particularly the intersection of the two subjects fascinating.

Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or university applications, I’ll work with you to build confidence, improve understanding, and develop exam techniques that really work, having tutored for over a year and accrued over 80 hours to date over a variety of tutoring platforms. I also offer personal statement support and interview coaching, especially for competitive courses and Oxbridge applications.

About the lesson

I offer GCSE and A-Level Biology & Chemistry tutoring, tailored to help students understand complex concepts, improve exam technique, and boost confidence in their studies. With a Master’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, I have strong subject expertise and firsthand experience in excelling at rigorous academic standards.

Whether you need structured lessons, revision support, or help with difficult subjects, I will provide clear explanations, engaging lessons, and personalised strategies to help you succeed. I always make bespoke material for tutorials, ensuring that my sessions are visual and contain lots of diagrams to ensure understanding, as well as using an IPad to draw/annotate.

I also offer university admissions support, including personal statement advice and interview preparation to help students stand out in competitive applications. Lessons are available online.
