About Puja
I am a qualified Maths teacher sought a PGCE, Mathematics qualification from the University of Oxford, specialising in KS3 and GCSE Maths.
Since 2018, I have supported students through Mathematics teaching and private tuition, helping them build confidence, strengthen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.
I specialise in KS3 and GCSE Maths and tailor lessons to each student's individual needs. My approach combines clear explanations, retrieval practice, regular homework and ongoing assessment to ensure knowledge is retained and progress is continuously monitored.
I am passionate about making Maths accessible, engaging and enjoyable while helping students develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve their full potential.

My lessons are structured, supportive and tailored to each student's individual needs. I begin by assessing a student's current understanding and identifying areas for development, allowing me to create a personalised learning plan that supports steady progress and builds confidence.
A key feature of my teaching is retrieval practice, where students regularly revisit previous learning to strengthen long-term memory, improve retention and identify any gaps in understanding. This helps ensure that knowledge is securely embedded rather than quickly forgotten.
Students receive regular homework to reinforce learning and develop independent study habits. Ongoing assessments and progress checks are used to monitor development, inform future lesson planning and improve exam readiness.
I cover the Edexcel, AQA and OCR exam boards, helping students build confidence, master key mathematical concepts and achieve their target grades.
