About Megan
Teaching has been a strong interest of mine and something that I have always wanted to pursue long-term. Having graduated with a First Class degree and progressing to my masters, I possess a love for education and understand how important it is to have a good support system when studying.
I have been taught by some of the most awe-inspiring role models, starting with my parents and progressing to my teachers and now, my university lecturers.
This is what I want to be for students out there that need some help.
I have a deep passion for English Literature, Drama and Theatre Studies and Musical Theatre - and I understand how complex these fields of study can be. I have confidence in these areas and can offer insights, tips and tricks on how to break down these subjects and make them easier to approach.
Plus, I want you to have fun! And I enjoy teaching! :)

"What do you want to get out of these sessions?"
Whether the answer to that question is passing an exam, learning more about you subject of interest, or to have a new perspective on something you might be struggling with, my teaching methodology centres around the idea of listening to each student's needs and adapting my sessions accordingly.
It is also about patience, understanding and fun - not everyone learns in the same way. My tasks and teaching style will reflect that of the student. I encourage questions and challenging ideas in a safe and inclusive environment. We will collaborate and come up with ideas together.
My sessions will be between 1-2 hours, depending on your needs, requirements and timetable. My lessons are aimed for A-Level and Undergraduate level, but I will also cater for GCSE level as well.
My experience as a tutor is limited, however having a younger sibling (and having a tutor when I was at GCSE level) has meant that I am in a position where I understand the value of a good tutor.
