I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Warwick with A Levels in Spanish,Maths,Further Maths and Physcis including an A* in Maths and D3 in Pre-U Spanish. At school, I was part of the volunteering scheme where I was assisting in a care home for a year as well as working as a teaching assistant in primary schools on field days

When teaching Spanish, I make sure every tutee will have a solid foundation of grammar rules, core verbs and pronouns as these are the building blocks of all languages. I will always bring the Cambridge IGCSE textbook to work through if need be, which has a range of listening and reading exercises to practice. Occasionally, once I feel the level is high enough we could attempt past exam essay questions, or hold natural conversation sessions to improve fluency and confidence.
When teaching Maths, the best way to learn is practice! I will teach the core theory using worked examples, then attempt some more from any relevant textbooks or past exam papers.
When teaching Physics, it is essential to understand all core definitions and equations. Whenever possible, I will help make and develop notes with the tutee and then learn to apply them to a range of questions from textbooks and past exams. Again like Maths, the key here is practice!!
