About Claire
I am a very friendly 22-year-old student who is passionate about French culture. I am bilingual in English and French. Born in France, I then lived 10 years in England and 12 years in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. As I grew up in a French-speaking country, I was taught grammar and vocabulary until C2 fluency level in the standard method given to children in French-speaking countries, which is different to the way English is taught in England, as we are taught all the rules of grammar thoroughly. I know well all the intricacies of the French language and would love to help you get to know them too.

I am very friendly and approachable. Each of my lessons will be tailored to each student. I am very patient and have been told by friends that I am good at explaining French rules in a rather simple manner.
I believe we learn a language faster by being forced to hear it and speak it, I learned Spanish the fastest when I was with a teacher who would speak in Spanish only. Hence, I will speak as little English as possible in lessons.
I have also done French B higher level in IB and can help you with your exams, and help you practice going through standard exam questions.
