About Isabelle

Hello! I am a university student studying psychology with a proficiency in A- Level equivalents of Psychology, Biology, US politics, English Literature, English Language, and Macroeconomics. I also completed a year of law school with the University of Edinburgh. I have 3 years of tutoring experience under my belt, four years of childcare, and I’m focusing on childhood development through university. I look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

Through my sessions, I aim to target potential weaknesses in learning and uplift them using a variety of methods. I try to learn what type of learner a student may be, (i.e. likes writing lessons down, likes hearing them, through flashcards, etc.) and implementing that through the lessons. I have been tutoring for 3 years for ages 7-16, focusing on English classes, but also math and science. I also have experience with not just teaching, but organizing students' homework and study plans. Sessions are up to the attention span of the student, but I would suggest 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
