About Ray
Hi! My name is Ray and I’m currently a university student with a strong interest in communication, learning, and helping others improve their English skills. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and helping them build confidence when speaking and using English in everyday situations.
As a student myself, I understand how challenging learning and studying can sometimes be. Because of this, I try to create lessons that feel supportive, relaxed, and engaging, where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing without pressure.
Outside of tutoring and studying, I enjoy learning about new ideas, personal development, and entrepreneurship. I also like connecting with people from different cultures and perspectives, which is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching English so much.
My goal as a tutor is to help students improve step by step while feeling more confident using English in school, work, or daily life.

My approach to teaching English is focused on building confidence, clarity, and real communication skills. I believe the best way to learn a language is through active practice and supportive guidance, rather than memorizing rules alone. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
My lessons are adapted to each student's goals and level. Whether a student wants to improve conversation, pronunciation, grammar, or writing, I adjust the lesson to focus on the areas that will help them progress the most.
A typical lesson usually includes:
A short conversation to practice speaking and build fluency
Focused work on vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation
Practical exercises such as discussion questions, short writing tasks, or reading practice
Feedback and tips to help students continue improving outside the lesson
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patient and student-focused approach. As a university student myself, I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in an academic environment. I focus on making lessons interactive, practical, and encouraging, so students feel comfortable improving step by step.
My lessons are ideal for:
