About Julia
I am an undergraduate student from Ontario now studying an economics and philosophy degree at McGill University. I've decided to offer some private help with SAT prep for Canadian students because I found the international college application process extremely stressful and could have used more affordable resources to help me along the way. With some online prep, determination, and a couple of tricks I picked up, I was able to score a 1570 on my SAT, and I am hoping to help others achieve their goals in a similar way!

A typical session would involve a combination of reading and writing practice as well as math, with a strong emphasis on whichever subject area could use the most improvement. I am very accommodating and am willing to adjust my teaching style as is necessary, but I begin by focusing on the format of questions (rather than specific problems) so that students are comfortable with the style of the test before jumping into content.
