About Ishan
My name is Ishan Sabharwal (19 years old) studying Medicine at university. I tutor Chemistry and Biology at GCSE level and having achieved all 9 grades in my GCSE’s I am determined to assist others in also achieving their potential.
Tutoring has always been a passion for me and I believe working hard is good … but working smarter is better. I love to provide students with exam-saving tips and ensure they walk into the exam with a positive attitude and content with what they know.
I credit my current scientific knowledge to perseverance and a strong desire to learn. Instilling in my students the same curiosity and love of problem-solving that have enabled me to succeed will hopefully also promote a methodical approach to learning.
We are often poor judges of our own ability therefore I provide frequent detailed corrective feedback throughout the lessons.

I am aware that each pupil is unique. Everybody learns differently, and I will do my best to accommodate your preferred method of learning, whether it be through oral presentations, exam-style questions, active recall, etc. I am committed to giving every student the finest intuition possible, and I will always consider any queries you may have.
As a tutor, my goal is to help you fill in any knowledge gaps and get ready for exams well in advance of the actual exam day. It does not matter what level of knowledge you have at this moment, I will do all that I can to help you ace the exams.
I would be pleased to have a private conversation with you if you have any specific worries.
My experience entails - For 6 months I volunteered as a teacher in a learning disability school (Bensham Manor) and worked with numerous students/classes. I have also delivered many online zoom lessons for my school societies of varying years for students struggling with particular topics.
I run 60 minute lessons - available on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to do late night sessions if that is more suitable.
