About Peter
Hi! :) My name is Peter and I am a 5th-year University student studying a double degree in Fine Arts/Education (Secondary) at UNSW, and I have a strong passion for Ancient History, historical research, and critical source analysis. I would love to tutor high school students in the subject of Ancient History because I enjoy helping students uncover how past civilizations shaped the modern world and learning how to interpret evidence like a historian. Studying Ancient History encourages curiosity about different cultures and perspectives, while building strong analytical and research skills that are valuable both within school and in future academic pursuits.

Teaches in-depth studies of Ancient History topics, historical analysis, and essay writing, all indicative within the NESA course syllabuses for Preliminary and HSC Ancient History. Also will work with students on their prescribed case studies and written essays in order to heighten their understanding of critical analysis of historical sources, and how to structure a well-rounded essay. The typical length of a lesson would be approx. 1-2 hours. My qualifications come from my achievement of receiving a Band 6 (90+) in Ancient History in the 2021 HSC, where I scored in the top 10% of the state, as well as being awarded a place on the UNSW Dean's List 3 years in a row for high academic achievement in my Arts (Humanities) degree.
