About Rohhan
I am a dedicated and motivated university student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Software Engineering at the University of Sydney. I have a strong academic foundation in Mathematics and English, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, clarity, and consistency in their learning. My background in engineering has trained me to think logically and explain concepts in a clear, structured manner. Combined with my strong communication skills, this allows me to adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I have experience mentoring and teaching students through volunteering and academic projects, which has helped me develop a responsible and professional approach to tutoring. I understand the pressures students face at school, particularly around exams and performance expectations, and I focus on helping them develop effective study habits alongside subject knowledge.

My approach to tutoring is structured, student-centred, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I begin by identifying the student’s current level, strengths, and gaps, then tailor lessons to suit their learning style and academic goals. In Mathematics, I focus on breaking down concepts step-by-step, using clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to ensure students truly understand the logic behind problems rather than memorising formulas. In English, I help students improve comprehension, writing structure, vocabulary, and exam technique through discussion, targeted exercises, and feedback on written work.
