Welcome! Based in Sydney, I offer a truly unique and professional learning experience. My qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Education, complemented by postgraduate studies in both Digital Communication & Culture and Teaching in Secondary Education. This powerful academic background, combined with my status as a native Mandarin speaker, equips me with a unique toolkit: the authentic language skills to teach genuine Chinese, and the expertise to integrate modern, highly effective teaching methods into every lesson. With over four years of private tutoring experience, I specialize in both Chinese and EAL/D (English as an Additional Language or Dialect). This gives me a deep, first-hand understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities that language learners encounter. I am dedicated to your success and look forward to applying my professional knowledge and experience to help you achieve your language goals.

Hello! I'm Xinran, and I'm dedicated to making Chinese lessons engaging and effective. I believe a personalized approach is the key to success.

My Teaching Method
My approach is student-centered. I design customized lesson plans for each student’s unique goals and learning style. As a native speaker, I focus on building authentic pronunciation and practical conversation skills. My lessons are interactive and supportive, using engaging materials to help students build the confidence to speak.

Lesson Structure & Length
Standard lessons are 60 minutes for focused, effective learning.
HSC preparation sessions are 90 minutes for more intensive training.
Each class includes a brief review, the introduction of new concepts, practical application, and a final summary.

My Qualifications & Experience
I bring two key strengths to my teaching: I am a native Mandarin speaker and am currently studying in Secondary Education in English/EALD. This unique combination means I offer both authentic language mastery and a strong understanding of the NSW curriculum and modern teaching strategies.

My lessons are perfect for:
Primary Students (K-6): Building a fun and solid foundation.
High School Students (7-12): Providing curriculum support and expert HSC preparation.
