About Luke

I have several years experience tutoring at math labs, learning centers, in the classroom, and privately, so I have picked up tips and advice concerning education. I also have a degree in math, so I offer a depth of knowledge in this particular subject some tutors don't have.

About the lesson

I first try to gauge your knowledge. Then I break down the problem so that we're on the same, explaining important concepts and ideas. Next using what you know now, you get the solution with me there for support. I use this method so that student develop the ability to work independently.

Not only did he earn the top grade in the class for both courses, he earned 100% on the final exam.

Luke welcomed the intense subject matter and proved to be quite capable of digesting and applying the advanced concepts to real-world scenarios. He is humble, kind, patient and thoughtful when working problems and explaining his solutions to other students.

Although he knows the answer to a question, Luke does not rush to impress. His solutions are not only perfect, they are clear and precise. He does not over-complicate and sticks to the basics of the problems.

You'd be lucky to have him as your math tutor!
