About Jeia Lance Kendall
Hi! I’m **Jeia Lance Kendall**, a student from the **University of the Philippines**, and I offer Filipino lessons for students who want to improve their skills in a clear, engaging, and supportive way. **Jeia Lance Kendall**
Hi! I’m **Jeia Lance Kendall**, a student from the **University of the Philippines**, and I offer Filipino lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning needs.
As a tutor, I believe that learning Filipino should feel approachable and meaningful—not intimidating. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I make sure to explain lessons in a simple but effective way, whether the student needs help with **grammar, reading comprehension, essay writing, vocabulary, speaking, or literature**. I also adjust my teaching approach depending on the student’s pace, level, and goals, so lessons feel more personalized and easier to follow.
My lessons usually begin with a short review or warm-up activity, followed by a clear discussion of the topic. I use examples, guided exercises, and practice questions to help students understand the lesson better and apply what they’ve learned with confidence. I also make time for questions, feedback, and review, so students feel supported throughout the learning process.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my background as a UP student, which has trained me to value both strong communication and critical thinking. I understand that every learner has different strengths and struggles, so I always aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, improve gradually, and build confidence in Filipino.
My lessons are open to **elementary, junior high school, senior high school, and college students**, as well as anyone who wants to improve their Filipino skills. I can help with **schoolwork, assignments, essays, oral reports, exam preparation, and overall language improvement**. Whether you’re struggling with Filipino or simply want to become more confident in the subject, I’d be happy to help you learn in a way that’s effective, encouraging, and suited to you.
