About Betty Trish

I’m Trish, and I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning and helping others understand things better. I come from a strong academic background, and I’ve always worked hard in my studies—especially in Maths and Physical Science, where I was the top student in Mkhondo.

I’m interested in tutoring because I know how frustrating it can feel when something just doesn’t make sense, and how powerful it is when it finally clicks. I enjoy being part of that moment for someone else. Helping a student go from feeling confused to feeling confident is something that really motivates me.

Tutoring is also personal for me because I like making a positive difference in people’s lives, even in small ways. I’m patient, understanding, and I try to explain things in a way that actually makes sense—not just the way it’s written in a textbook.

At the end of the day, I don’t just want students to pass—I want them to feel more confident in themselves and their abilities.

I approach private tutoring with a strong focus on understanding each student’s individual needs and learning style. My methodology is centered on breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable parts while building a solid foundation. I aim to not only help students pass, but to truly understand their work so they can apply knowledge confidently in exams and real-life situations. What makes me unique is my patience, structured approach, and ability to simplify challenging topics, especially in subjects that students often find difficult.

I tutor Mathematics, Physics, Accounting, and Life Sciences, and I bring both strong academic knowledge and proven results. I was recognized as the best student in Mkhondo for Mathematics and Physical Science, which reflects my deep understanding of these subjects and my ability to perform at a high level.

I am proficient in English and teach comfortably in it. I also adapt my explanations to suit each student’s level of understanding, ensuring that concepts are clear and easy to follow.

In a typical lesson, students can expect a well-structured session that includes a quick review of previous work, clear explanations of new concepts, worked examples, and guided practice. I encourage active participation and questions throughout the lesson to ensure full understanding.
