About Kalkidan

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic international scholar at UTSC with a 4.0 GPA committed to helping students build confidence and succeed in their studies. With a strong academic background in STEM and experience supporting peers in mathematics and science, I focus on making complex concepts clear and approachable.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I believe that every student can succeed when they are given the right guidance and encouragement. About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach

My tutoring focuses on helping students understand concepts clearly rather than just memorizing steps. I break down complex ideas into simple explanations and guide students through problems step-by-step so they learn the logic behind each solution. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate so they build confidence in their problem-solving skills.

Teaching Method

My lessons are interactive and structured. I usually start with a quick review, explain the key concept with examples, then work through problems together before letting the student try similar questions independently. This helps reinforce understanding and identify any gaps quickly.

What Sets Me Apart
