About Victoria

I am a passionate individual with extensive experience working with vulnerable populations such as those with Traumatic Brain Injury. These affected individuals often struggle with cognitive and behavioural challenges which make it difficult for them to perform at school or work.
Through the community, I also have experience with tutoring children in Math, Science & English as well as assisting with test prep for nursing and paramedic students.
I am extremely dedicated and passionate about helping people of all ages to overcome their challenges, improve their efficiency and meet their goals.

About the lesson

My teaching methods/styles are tailored to each individual student to accommodate their unique learning styles and promote their success.
As everyone learns differently, upon meeting new potential students, I first prioritize getting to know the student, their academic strengths/weakness and which teaching styles they are most responsive to. This information helps me to customize lesson plans/teaching styles to meet every student's individual needs.
I review all provided material in advance of each session in order to prepare and increase efficiency during the session.
Dependent on the student's needs, I am prepared to review subject fundamentals, provide homework help and help to prepare for tests/examinations in an effort to strengthen each student's knowledge and increase their confidence to meet their academic goals.
