About Swikriti
Hi, I’m Swikriti! I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. I’ve always been passionate about understanding human behavior and helping others do the same in a clear, practical, and engaging way. With experience in both academic and applied psychology, I bring a balanced perspective to my lessons, grounding theory in real-life examples and encouraging critical thinking. I’m patient, organized, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. Whether you're preparing for exams or just trying to make sense of complex psychological concepts, I’m here to support you every step of the way. As a psychology tutor with a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto and a background in psychology, I approach teaching with academic depth and practical application. My lessons are designed to help students truly understand psychological theories and not just memorize them by connecting concepts to real-world examples and current issues.
Each session begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a structured deep dive into a specific topic such as cognitive development, behavioural theories, or psychological research methods. I incorporate active recall, visual aids, case studies, and discussion questions to make learning engaging and memorable. We review key takeaways and clarify doubts toward the end of each lesson to ensure confidence in the material.
I specialize in tutoring high school, AP, IB, and early university-level psychology students. Whether struggling with foundational theories or preparing for an exam, I tailor every lesson to your learning style and academic goals.
