About Nthato
I’m a second year university student at The University of Capetown (UCT). I used to struggle with English until grade 5 when I developed a love for reading. A real game changer to be honest.
I’m most passionate about creative writing and oratory because both can show people who you are. I love seeing people’s personalities shine through their work. Especially if I can help them. Even for less expressive/interesting aspects of English, it’s exciting to see people improve their skills.

I spend a lot of time getting to know my tutees in order to help improve their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. I assess what I’m capable of doing for a student and the amount of work they’re willing to do in order to improve their skills. I work around the schedules of my tutees and can provide them with numerous resources beyond tutoring sessions to practice and improve.
