About Kyle
All through my Mathematics learning career, I have recognised a strong lack of intuitive teaching in the subject. Too often are students told HOW to do things and not WHY. This inevitably leads the student to feel confused, frustrated and even sick of the subject.
But it’s doesn’t have to be this way. I want to teach students to think about the reason of doing things the way we do: the reason behind the madness. Not only will this leave the student more confident and able to tackle unseen problems, but it will also open doors to seeing the subject in a more positive and approachable light.

In quantitative subjects (as maths and physics are), it is vital to practice EXAM SPECIFIC questions. That is why in my sessions tackling example problems will be the main focus.
Before the session, you may ask what areas you are struggling on and would like going over. Following which I will remove the jargon and explain in simple English a certain topic. To reinforce my explanation, we will go through questions together until you are confident to tackle any question an exam could throw at you.
As consolidation, we will analyse what exam skills and knowledge needs to be improved by the student and go through any other questions you may throw at me.
