About Ateed

I am an honors Biology graduate passionate about helping middle and high school students excel in science and math. I have been recognized on the Dean’s List and played soccer for my school, which taught me teamwork, discipline, and dedication, qualities I bring into my tutoring. I also have experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, helping students understand challenging concepts in science and math. I am currently pursuing a career in medicine, which motivates me to share my love for science as well as my passion for teaching.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on making science and math concepts clear, engaging, and memorable. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to each individual’s pace and style, using real-world examples, interactive exercises, and problem-solving strategies to reinforce understanding.

A typical lesson begins with a review of previous material, followed by guided explanations and practice exercises, and ends with a recap and challenges to strengthen skills. I encourage questions and discussion to make learning active, not passive.

I also bring experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at the University of Waterloo, where I supported students, led study sessions, and clarified complex topics. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain concepts in clear, practical ways.

What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex topics into simple, logical steps and my dedication to helping students build both confidence and competence in their subjects. My lessons are designed for middle and high school students who want to improve in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, whether they need support for schoolwork, exams, or general understanding.

I offer flexible lessons that can be conducted in-person or online based on the student's preference making it convenient for different schedules and learning preferences.
