About Dorsa
I am an international Mmath student at University of York.
I have taught maths to high school students willing to participate in national maths contests back in my country.
I also have taken teacher training course for kids,teenagers and adults and taught English(ESL) in Kish Institute of Technology.

I like to base my lessons on the areas of maths the student finds challenging or does not find intuitive and help build confidence and in depth understanding in those areas.
My teaching method is as student centred as possible so instead of one sided teaching of the material as a new concept, I try help my students come up with the concepts themselves based on their intuition and understanding.
I try my best to structure the class in a way that is open to any question and new solutions with the co-operative atmosphere of a class suitable for mathematical communication.
After all what makes one good at maths is feeling confident and enjoying the process.
