I am a Politics and International Relations graduate from the University of York, having studied democratic politics, international politics, political theory and international relations related modules.
I also have an A* in A-Level Politics, supported Politics lessons for Sixth Form students and tutored an individual for Edexcel A-Level Politics

I focus on speaking to the student first to determine what they wish to develop and support in developing essay and exam technique as well as topic-specific content.
I prefer to talk with the student about their thinking and mental planning to assess what approach might best help them develop their responses to essays and exams, to enable them to be self-sufficient and adapt their knowledge to where it is applicable.
