About Misha

Hey there, I’m Misha—a South African educator, wife, mom, and a woman who knows the power of words. I’ve spent years working with children, families, and communities, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: language is freedom. It’s confidence. It’s connection. I got into teaching English because I’ve seen how hard it can be to express yourself when you don’t have the right words—how frustrating it is to feel smart, but not be able to show it. That hit me deep. So I made it my mission to be the kind of teacher I wish everyone had: patient, playful, sharp, and fiercely invested in your growth. I hold a TEFL certification and have years of experience teaching and caring for learners of all ages. But more than that? I teach with heart. I create a space where you can make mistakes without shame, ask the “dumb” questions (spoiler: they’re never dumb), and build real, lasting confidence. This isn’t just a job to me—it’s purpose. Watching my students go from “I can’t” to “Watch me” is what lights me the hell up. You bring the courage, I’ll bring the tools—and together we’ll unlock a version of you that doesn’t just speak English, but owns it.

About the lesson

Tired of boring lessons, textbook robots, and feeling like English just isn’t clicking? Yeah, nah. That’s not how we do things around here. I’m a qualified TEFL-certified English teacher with a passion for language, laughter, and learning that actually sticks. My lessons are: Customized to your level, pace, and goals Interactive AF – We talk, play, move, and laugh Grammar-friendly but never dry (no yawning on my watch!) Real-world focused – Speak like you live here, not in a grammar book Safe & Supportive – I’ve worked with kids, adults, and second-language learners from all walks of life With a background in education, years of hands-on experience, and a heart that beats for helping others grow, I don’t just teach English—I teach you how to own it. Whether you’re prepping for travel, school, work, or just want to stop doubting yourself every time you speak—I’m your guide, cheerleader, and grammar ninja in one. Let’s turn your English journey into a vibe you’ll actually love. Book your first session now—and let’s make English your new superpower.
